Yeastar launches the P‑Series, a “PBX‑Plus‑More” PBX for SMEs

Yeastar, a global provider of PBXs for SMEs, announced the official launch of its new P‑Series at its first global event. The announcement took place in Xiamen, China, and Dallas, United States, on October 27, 2020.

The P‑Series is described as a “PBX‑Plus‑More” PBX system that integrates voice, mobility, presence, collaboration, and other functions. According to Alan Shan, CEO of Yeastar, the company aims to “exceed customers’ high expectations” and “fill the UC gap and increase SME productivity.”

Features presented at the virtual event included:

  • UC clients offering cross-platform interoperability, flexibility, and geographic independence;
  • A cost-effective call center solution for SME service centers, aimed at improving customer satisfaction;
  • An intuitive operator panel for receptionists to simplify call management.

The system also offers an optimized user and administration experience through:

  • Call management visualization;
  • IP configuration via NFC (write/read);
  • Granular permissions based on custom user roles;
  • Enhanced presence status adapted to various scenarios.

Yeastar indicated that advanced features are under development, including:

  • WebRTC calls;
  • Video conferencing;
  • CRM integration;
  • CTI.

Software and cloud deployment options are also planned, along with smoother third-party integrations to provide a truly unified experience.
