New Yeastar P‑Series system update (August 2025)

The latest Yeastar P‑Series PBX firmware brings major improvements to outbound call management, bulk messaging, and regulatory compliance. These updates aim to reduce missed messages, speed up customer responses, and secure calling campaigns. Below is a complete overview of what's new, illustrated with the corresponding screenshots.

Group chat in the queue

The new group chat lets all agents assigned to a queue view, follow, and respond to customer messages in real time. Three assignment modes (Pickup by default, Manual Pickup, Disabled) offer maximum flexibility for managing complex conversations. The customer sees only one unified response channel, ensuring a smooth experience.

Bulk outbound messaging

The PBX becomes a true marketing communications engine, with the ability to send SMS and WhatsApp Template campaigns to hundreds of recipients. You can customize the content, schedule sending, and track performance in real time from the central dashboard.

WhatsApp message templates

WhatsApp templates let you send pre-approved messages outside the 24 h window, whether for campaigns or conversational replies. Three template types (Utility, Authentication, Marketing) cover every need, with the option to include rich text, media, and interactive buttons.

Bulk SMS

SMS campaigns can be launched directly from the PBX, with no approval or formatting constraints. You can create individual conversation threads or group replies under a single campaign activity, while tracking delivery and response metrics.

Enhanced call center compliance

Two new controls strengthen compliance: the DNC (Do Not Call) list, which automatically blocks prohibited numbers, and the attempt control, which limits call frequency to the same number.

DNC (Do Not Call) list

Administrators can centrally manage the DNC list by importing, exporting, or synchronizing it with third-party sources. When a campaign uses this list, the system checks every number and blocks the corresponding calls. Blocked attempts are logged for auditing.

Attempt control

This control allows you to limit how often calls are made to the same number, for example once a day or every three days, to reduce disruptions and improve campaign efficiency.
