17 June 2020, XIAMEN, CHINA – DALLAS, USA – Yeastar announced that its S‑Series VoIP PBX, Cloud PBX and K2 IP‑PBX systems can now fully integrate with Microsoft Teams, the Office 365 collaboration hub.
This integration turns Teams users into regular extensions on the Yeastar PBX system, allowing them to make and receive internal and external calls directly from the Teams application while benefiting from a range of advanced features. Microsoft Teams has more than 75 million daily active users, but its calling plans and SBC routing options are often limited in features or require significant investment in SBC hardware.
With Yeastar, businesses can:
- Make and receive calls from any device via the Teams app while keeping their existing numbers and SIP endpoints;
- Configure custom IVR scripts;
- Manage calls (transfer, hold, mute) ;
- Access additional features such as call recording, call groups, voicemail to email, etc.;
- Consolidate communications and collaboration on a single platform ;
- Simplify configuration and administration with an easy installation process.
Alan Shen, Yeastar’s CEO, said that the solution is “suited to businesses whose employees use Teams, enabling Teams users, non-users and external customers to connect effortlessly, thereby creating a unified experience”. He added that the solution enables service providers, resellers and MSPs to offer Teams users a complete telephony solution, filling the gap for existing user bases or attracting new customers.
The Yeastar for Microsoft Teams app is now available on Microsoft AppSource with a 30-day free trial.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
