The latest P‑Series firmware update, version V24.1 GA, is now available for production after the Alpha and Beta phases. It brings a series of optimizations designed to strengthen team communication and integration with existing ecosystems. This text presents the main new features and guides you through updating your system.
Queue logs including answered calls
With V24.1, visibility into queued calls now extends to synchronization of logs for answered calls. Managers and team members can now see exactly who handled each call, including incoming, answered, and missed calls. This provides complete traceability and allows managers to filter, call back, or mark calls for effective follow-up.
Microsoft AD Avatar Synchronization
The Microsoft AD profile photo synchronization feature has been added. User avatars are now automatically synchronized to PBX extensions, ensuring a professional and consistent appearance. Administrators can control synchronization permissions, while authorized users can customize their profile through the Linkus UC client.
“Send Busy” Transfer
The call transfer mechanism now includes a dedicated “Send Busy” destination. When a line is busy, incoming calls are automatically routed to a “Hang Up” destination with code 486, immediately signaling a busy status to the caller and avoiding unnecessary wait times.
Additional optimizations
V24.1 introduces several enhancements: OAuth2 PKCE support for custom CRM integrations, omnichannel session reassignment, creation of new sessions even when an active session is present, support for internal and external destinations in Refer‑to headers, and improved auto-provisioning of Yealink IP phones via unencrypted files. On-premises proxy support is also available for the Cloud Edition.
Newly Supported Phone Models
From April 16 to May 14, new phone models are compatible: Atcom A10W, Alcatel ALE‑2 and ALE‑3, as well as Yealink SIP‑W90DM. See the auto-provisioning list for more than 500 IP models.
