P-Series Firmware Updates: Flow Designer, TTS, Voicemail Transcription, and More

Yeastar’s latest P-Series firmware, released in July 2025, brings advanced features to improve the business telephony experience. With a visual Flow Designer, intelligent text-to-speech, and automatic voicemail transcription, this update paves the way for smoother, smarter business communications.

Flow Designer integrated into the PBX

Flow Designer (CFD) lets users create inbound call flows without coding, using intuitive drag and drop. Users can combine predefined blocks, conditions, loops, and variables to design complex flows, while protecting sensitive information with authentication components.

Text-to-speech (TTS) features

Text-to-speech instantly converts text into a realistic voice for IVR menus, alert calls, appointment reminders, and greetings. Rate, volume, and pitch can be adjusted in real time, and the audio output can be previewed before deployment.

Automatic voicemail transcription

Voicemails are now converted to text using AI and displayed directly in the message list. Users can edit the text, sync it across Linkus devices, and forward it by email, while avoiding conflicts with the voicemail-to-email feature.

Queue enhancements

Call queues benefit from improved management: automatic return to the last queue, synchronization of agent statuses, and consolidation of calls from the same caller to prevent duplicates.

Automatic number filtering

The filtering function removes special characters from entered numbers, ensuring correct dialing regardless of the original format (CRM, LDAP, etc.).

Additional optimizations

Cloud Edition supports automatic provisioning of Cisco SPA phones, while the Software/Appliance edition enables remote provisioning. Other additions include managing feature codes for queues, modifying call transfer, editing email templates in HTML, and bulk contact deletion.

Flow Designer integrated into the PBX

The Flow Designer (CFD) is a drag-and-drop tool for creating inbound call flows without coding. It offers predefined blocks, conditions, loops, and variables for designing complex flows. Users can choose between manual customization, quick setup using templates, or importing existing flow files.

How the Flow Designer Works

The CFD covers most call management scenarios: intelligent IVR, routing based on time or language, VIP lookup in an external database, etc. It also includes security components, such as password authentication, to protect sensitive information.

Target audience

Non-technical users benefit from an intuitive graphical interface, while PBX technicians and resellers gain customization flexibility and batch management of flows. Note: flows replace inbound call routes and are disabled by default.

Text-to-Speech (TTS)

TTS converts any text into realistic audio using advanced AI models. It offers multiple voices, languages, and accents, with adjustable speed, volume, and pitch. Audio output can be previewed instantly.

TTS applications

TTS can be used wherever voice prompts can be uploaded: IVR menus, hotel wake-up calls, holiday messages, appointment reminders, queue greetings, etc. It lets you update messages without re-recording them.

Voicemail transcription

AI transcription automatically converts voicemail messages into readable text displayed in the voicemail list. It offers automatic or manual transcription, text editing, and email delivery with a notification. Transcription cannot be used alongside the voicemail email function.

Queue improvements

Agents can quickly reconnect to the last queue, administrators can set “Connected” as the default status, and call disposition is synchronized to prevent duplicates. These optimizations make call management smoother.

Number filtering

Filtering removes special characters (except +, * and #) from entered numbers before they are sent to the trunk. This ensures accurate decoding regardless of the format received from CRM or other databases.

Additional optimizations

The Cloud version supports auto-configuration of Cisco SPA phones, the Software/Appliance version enables their remote provisioning, and new queue and email template management features have been added.
