On November 23, 2020, Chinese company Yeastar announced that its two PBX solutions – the Cloud PBX and the On‑premises PBX – had won the « Reader’s Choice ICT Product of the Year 2020 » awards presented by German magazine Funkchau.
Funkchau, a widely circulated specialist magazine, collected more than 14 000 votes across 21 categories to select the best ICT products. Yeastar thus received two trophies: the Cloud PBX was ranked the third-best cloud telephone system of the year, while the S300 VoIP PBX was named the third-best telephone system for large businesses. The S300, capable of supporting up to 500 users, stands out for its scalability, mobility, third-party integration, unified communications and ease of management.
Alan Shen, executive director of Yeastar, praised « the great honor these two awards represent for our Cloud and On‑premises PBXs, and we thank Funkchau readers for their valuable votes ». He added that the recognition « has deep significance for Yeastar in these unprecedented times, when unified communications, collaboration and remote work play a vital role for businesses of all sizes ».
Yeastar also launched its new P‑Series PBX system the previous month, a « PBX‑Plus‑More » solution that integrates voice, mobility, presence, collaboration and other features.
