P‑Series V23.1 final updates: Call Flow Designer enhancements and more

The latest P‑Series firmware update, V23.1 Final, is now available. It brings together feedback from the Alpha and Beta cycles to provide administrators with more powerful and intuitive tools. In just a few clicks, you can take advantage of significant improvements to the Call Flow Designer, more precise AI transcription alerts, and more flexible archive management, while benefiting from new telephony options and support for additional device models.

Call Flow Designer improvements

The Call Flow Designer, a visual call automation tool, has been redesigned to make it easier to create more complete flows. Key components now offer clearer routing and action logic. The Prompt and User Input components now include a TTS timeout destination, while Menu and Dial By Number improve key collection and unique number handling. The Transfer component accepts IVRs as a destination and allows function codes to be configured. New standalone components (Email Sender, Database Access, HTTP) have been moved to the Toolbox, with configurable timeout options. The Internal Data Ops component separates Get/Set operations and offers more options, including retrieving system information.

Threshold-based AI transcription alerts

Notifications related to AI transcription are now more flexible. In addition to the standard thresholds of 90 % and 95 %, alerts can be set at 70 %, 75 %, 80 %, 85 %, and 100 %. These email notifications are triggered before usage reaches the limit, covering both call and voicemail transcription.

Flexible archive storage methods

The PBX now offers more flexible remote archive storage options. For one-off tasks, the administrator can choose to create a dedicated folder or save directly to a selected path. For recurring tasks, a new folder can be created for each run, a single folder can be reused, or files can be saved directly. The date-based organization feature automatically groups files into chronological subfolders, simplifying archive management.

Additional optimizations

Support for SMS carriers has been expanded to include VoIP.ms and NETPLANET, in addition to existing providers (General, Flowroute, Twilio, Telnyx, Bandwidth, Alhambra IT, Aspsms, etc.).

Newly Supported Device Models

Between January 30 and March 2, the Avaya 9611G and 9641G models are now supported for auto-provisioning, among more than 500 available IP models.
