New P‑Series PBX features: one-click call parking, email follow-up, and more

Yeastar’s latest update for the P‑Series PBX brings major improvements to simplify call management and strengthen post-call follow-up. Available from December 2025, these new features aim to reduce daily friction and provide a smoother user experience.

One-click call parking

Users can now put a call on hold with a single click from the call screen, without having to dial a code. They can choose an automatically assigned slot or a specific extension, and this option is available on all Linkus clients (Desktop, Web, Mobile), the Linkus Chrome extension, and the Microsoft Teams and Dynamics 365 integrations.

Call follow-up by email

The PBX can immediately open the default email client (Outlook Web, Gmail, Yahoo) with a pre-filled template using the Mailto protocol. With a single click, call details—contact, summary, notes, and custom variables—can be sent to colleagues or clients, ensuring no information is lost during follow-up.

Benefits for users

With one click, users send emails without copying manually, maintain smooth communication, and reduce the risk of forgetting essential details, supporting a more professional workflow.

Benefits for administrators

Admins can create standardized email templates, ensure follow-up on important calls, and retain a traceable history for accountability and compliance.

Customizable email templates

Predefined templates are available for call action reports, VIP customer follow-up, SLAs, threshold alerts, and notifications. Admins can customize or create new templates using the configuration guide.

Active call panel for admins

A new panel in the management interface provides real-time visibility into ongoing calls. Super-admins can monitor status, manage call flow, and hang up directly from the panel, avoiding the need to switch to the extension client.

Additional optimizations

Remote archiving improvements with detailed reports, support for playing and downloading recordings, and new cleanup rules. The PBX now supports SharePoint and S3-compatible platforms (Wasabi, Backblaze B2, etc.). In addition, SSO login is now the only login option in certain countries, compatible with Microsoft Entra ID, AD, Google Workspace, and Red Hat. Swedish language support has also been added.

New phone models

Starting October 15, the PBX supports the Gigaset N770 IP PRO model. The auto-provisioning list includes more than 500 IP phones.

Configuration guides for new features

Step-by-step instructions are available for One-click call parking, Call follow-up by email, and the Active call panel, to make implementation easier.

Update and free trial

Administrators can update the firmware via the management portal, while new users can start a 30-day free trial to discover the new features.
