Yeastar released the October 2024 update for the P-Series phone system, bringing major enhancements for French-speaking businesses. The new features cover Microsoft SQL database integration, Zoho CRM optimization, advanced IVR options, and an enhanced user experience in Linkus.
Microsoft SQL integration for contact synchronization
P-Series can now look up callers in real time through a direct connection to the Microsoft SQL server. Contacts can be synchronized daily or weekly, with the option to select subsets and distribute them across PBX address books based on specific attributes. This synchronization enables automatic routing of incoming calls to predefined extensions, queues, or groups.
Zoho CRM via Zoho PhoneBridge
A new integration method via Zoho PhoneBridge offers native click-to-call, business card pop-ups, real-time note-taking, and the ability to create follow-up tasks directly from the CRM. The system also plays call recordings. This version is available only for paid editions of Zoho CRM.
Custom IVR key
Administrators can now add PIN code authentication to the IVR, allowing callers to be verified before routing them to specific destinations. IVR reports show the PIN used, providing a complete audit trail.
Linkus experience enhancements
Linkus now supports more calls on hold (up to six), displays custom presence messages, offers agents a comprehensive dashboard, lets users filter calls in the queue, and provides quick redial from the keypad.
Function key templates
Administrators can create function key templates and apply them to multiple users simultaneously, simplifying the setup of shortcuts such as speed dial, voicemail, or intercom.
Update and availability
Users can update the P-Series firmware through the administration portal and use the new features immediately. A 30-day free trial is available to new customers.
