On August 28, 2024, in Xiamen, China, Yeastar, the global leader in Unified Communications solutions, announced the introduction of Live Chat and Facebook Messenger in the latest updates to its P‑Series phone system. These new channels enhance the capabilities of the Yeastar contact center, which already includes WhatsApp and SMS.
Live Chat allows customers to access sales representatives directly through a real-time chat interface. Businesses can install a chat widget on their website, with customization options to match their visual identity. Customer inquiries are centralized in a single inbox on UC Linkus clients, where agents efficiently manage interactions from multiple platforms. Conversations can be converted into phone calls, providing free consultations that turn website visitors into potential leads.
Facebook Messenger integration also enriches the customer service toolkit, enabling businesses to engage with their audience on one of the most widely used social networks, which has more than 1.3 billion active users worldwide.
“Integrating live chat and Facebook Messenger into our contact center solution aligns with our vision and marks a major milestone in Yeastar’s CCaaS roadmap,” said Arya Zhou, Head of Global Sales at Yeastar. “As contact centers take on a broader role, businesses need to equip themselves with the essential tools to deliver omnichannel customer service. Going forward, we will continue to offer more communication options to help them excel and differentiate themselves in the market.”
This update is part of Yeastar’s strategy to expand its UC&C solutions and support its 450 000 customers worldwide with products that are easy to adopt and manage.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
