Yeastar integrates WhatsApp and SMS into its P‑Series systems

Yeastar, a global provider of Unified Communications solutions, announced on 25 October 2023 the integration of WhatsApp and SMS into its P‑Series phone system. This update enables businesses to centralize all customer messages on a single platform.

Incoming messages are automatically matched with existing contacts. Using the Linkus Web/Mobile/Desktop client, users can manage conversations from multiple channels in a single chat panel, easily transfer chats to other team members, and collaborate in the same interface.

During its annual virtual event, Yeastar Day 2023, the company presented its strategic plan for the contact center market. Development areas include adding new digital channels (Meta Messenger, live chat on the website), advanced routing features (priority queues, skills-based routing, message queues), and outbound calling campaigns via auto-dialers.

“Our goal is to meet PBX and contact center needs from a single source. This strategic approach diversifies our offerings and taps into a fast-growing market,” said Prince Cai, Vice‑President of Yeastar.
