Yeastar launches the revamped TB200/TB400 VoIP BRI gateways

Yeastar, a designer and manufacturer of IP telecommunications solutions, announced on 4 May 2015 the refurbishment of the TB400 BRI VoIP gateway and the start of series production of the TB200/TB400 range. The new version offers more than 50 % improved processing capacity thanks to a high-end TI chipset.

The black metal enclosure has been redesigned for a clean look and improved ergonomics. The physical interfaces—LAN, console port and BRI ports—as well as the LED indicators are on the front panel, making management easier.

Performance has been enhanced: the gateway supports industry-standard codecs (G.711, G.723, G.726, G.729A, iLBC) and improves fax quality as well as the number of simultaneous calls on all ports.

The Web GUI has been redesigned with a clear navigation bar on the left and a menu at the top right, making configuration more intuitive.

New features include flexible call rules (Hotline, two-stage calling) and security settings such as a firewall, IP blacklist, TLS and SRTP to protect the system.

The TB200/TB400 remains a compact and reliable standalone gateway, offering 2 or 4 BRI ports for businesses using ISDN BRI lines and enabling simple, cost-effective and flexible integration into any VoIP system or IP PBX connected to the public ISDN network.

The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
