MyPBX Now Integrates a CDMA Module

Yeastar, a designer and manufacturer of IP telecommunications solutions, announced on April 2, 2015 that the CDMA module is now officially supported on the MyPBX Standard, MyPBX U100, MyPBX U200, MyPBX U500, MyPBX U510, and MyPBX U520 models.

This integration enables businesses to benefit from a flexible, scalable configuration thanks to MyPBX’s modular design. Users can combine telephony interfaces to connect analog phones or fax machines via an FXS module, obtain PSTN, BRI, GSM, CDMA, and UMTS connectivity using the appropriate modules, and provide PSTN redundancy with the SO module.

CDMA, a direct competitor to GSM, is particularly widespread in North America and Asia. With this module, MyPBX becomes a versatile product capable of handling voice calls and SMS over GSM, CDMA, and UMTS networks.

Interested customers can consult the technical details and configuration options on Yeastar’s website; no direct link was provided in the announcement.
