Yeastar, a provider of cloud and on-premises VoIP solutions, announced the official release of its Linkus Unified Communications application on September 25, 2018. Available on Windows, iOS and Android, the application adds unified communications features to S-Series PBXs and Cloud PBXs.
Business users can now manage calls, presence and instant messaging from a single device, with CRM integration and advanced call handling features. Following a beta launch two months earlier, Yeastar gathered feedback and improved sound quality, reliability and the user interface.
Key features of Linkus include the ability to make and receive calls from a mobile phone or computer using the same business number; start one-to-one or group chats with file sharing; check colleagues’ availability; access the company directory; transfer calls to extensions, mobile numbers, voicemail or other destinations; and view call logs and Outlook or Google contacts. Missed calls, history, voicemail messages and one-click recordings are accessible from multiple devices.
Yeastar CEO Alan Shen said, “Unified communications is redefining the modern workforce by enabling people to control how, when and where they want to be reached.” He added that the Linkus upgrade, synchronized with on-premises and cloud systems, aims to expand Yeastar’s presence in the UC field and offer new options to service providers and resellers.
Three beta versions of Linkus are currently available: Linkus for Windows, Linkus for Android and Linkus for iOS. Interested parties can sign up for the free Yeastar Cloud PBX trial to test the application at no cost.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
