On January 10, 2018, Yeastar, a manufacturer of VoIP PBX systems and VoIP gateways, announced a major update to the TG Series of GSM VoIP gateways. The new version, available for the TG200, TG400, TG800 and TG1600 models, introduces full 4G LTE network support, including 4G voice calls and VoLTE, to provide greater business continuity and improved audio quality.
The update also brings a more intuitive web interface, with a point-and-click configuration panel that makes setup and navigation easier. The interface now displays module status and port number more clearly, simplifying management.
On the hardware side, the new version supports hot-swapping SIM cards, allowing a SIM card to be inserted or removed without shutting down the gateway. The TG800 and TG1600 models benefit from an additional WAN port.
Yeastar engineers have implemented modern compression techniques to ensure crystal-clear voice quality. Alan Shen, CEO of Yeastar, said that the company’s VoIP gateways are highly regarded for their robust performance and that this update meets customers’ growing expectations for performance and features.
This update does not apply to the TG100 model.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, choosing an architecture and preparing for deployment.
