On 17 January 2018, Yeastar announced that it would present its new Cloud PBX, a hosted telephony system, at ITEXPO East, to be held from 14 to 16 February 2018 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The product, which has been beta tested, is described as a cost-effective multi-instance solution for hosted telephony businesses. It can be self-hosted in a data center, a virtualized platform or a public cloud, giving resellers the opportunity to market it as a proprietary product.
The main advertised features are:
- Centralized management via the Yeastar Management Plane (YMP), displaying CPU, network, memory and storage status in real time.
- Rapid scalability that makes it easy to add users and simultaneous calls for each instance.
- Comprehensive business communication features: unified messaging, conferences, automatic provisioning of IP phones, etc.
- Mobility through the Linkus mobile client, allowing extensions to ring on iOS or Android phones and reducing mobile call costs.
Alan Shen, CEO of Yeastar, said: “We are pleased to return to ITEXPO East this year. We consider ITEXPO an excellent platform for launching our new product, the Yeastar Cloud PBX, to the world. Having been tested in a beta program, this cost-effective, multi-instance solution could be a perfect fit for ITEXPO attendees.”
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to discover Cloud PBX at booth 527, where live demonstrations will be offered. Attendees are invited to add the Yeastar booth to their agenda.
Before the exhibition, a pre-show seminar will take place on February 13, 2018, in room 210 of the Broward County Convention Center. The seminar, available in English and Spanish, will offer two sessions (9h30–11h30 in English, 13h00–15h00 in Spanish) and provide each attendee with a free Cloud PBX instance to test immediately. Registration is free, but places are limited: https://yeastar-itexpo-2018-seminar.eventbrite.com.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
