The VoIP PBX provider Yeastar announced on July 31, 2018, that its S‑Series and Cloud PBX systems are now certified with several VTech SIP phones, including the ErisTerminal® and ErisStation® models.\n\nInteroperability tests conducted in Beaverton, Oregon and Xiamen, China, confirmed that the new devices are compatible through the Auto Provision application. The models added are:\n- ErisTerminal® SIP Deskset ET685,\n- ErisTerminal SIP Color Deskset,\n- VDP650 SIP DECT 4‑Line Base Station,\n- VDP658 ErisTerminal SIP DECT Cordless 4‑Line Deskset,\n- VDP651 ErisTerminal SIP DECT Cordless 4‑Line Handset,\n- ErisStation® Conference Phone VCS752,\n- ErisStation SIP Conference Phone VCS754 (new for Yeastar Cloud PBX).\n\nErnie Levenson, president of VTech Communications, noted that this collaboration would make “affordable, high-quality SIP options accessible to service providers and end users across the country.” Alan Shen, CEO of Yeastar, added that seamless interoperability “makes deployment easier and delivers a premium user and audio experience,” and said he plans to add more VTech models in the future.\n\nThe ET685 model, designed for call management and delegation, features a 4.3‑inch color display, 10 information lines and four programmable keys, and can support up to 12 SIP lines simultaneously. The VDP650 Series, meanwhile, offers complete mobility without sacrificing the familiarity of a desk phone, while the VDP651 lets users place a call on hold on one device and retrieve it on another.\n\nErisStation conference phones, including the VCS752 equipped with Bluetooth® for hands-free calls, can be paired with up to three VCS850 wireless speakers to increase volume and microphone pickup, meeting the needs of small to large meetings.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
