On April 12, 2018, Yeastar, a Chinese manufacturer of VoIP PBX systems, announced that it was now fully compatible with all SIP services provided by Deutsche Telekom, Europe’s largest telecommunications operator.
The certification, obtained through testing at Deutsche Telekom’s third-party laboratory, covers SIP trunking services, including Deutschland LAN SIP‑Trunk and Deutschland LAN IP Voice. Yeastar thus joins a list of more than 100 manufacturers tested by the operator.
Yeastar engineers took part in the evaluation at the German laboratory, where the full test, which usually takes one week, was completed in just three days, highlighting the efficiency of the collaboration.
To facilitate the adoption of this compatibility, Yeastar released firmware version 30.7.0.27 for its S‑Series PBXs. This update includes preconfigured templates for Deutsche Telekom SIP trunks, enabling customers to quickly configure a trunk by simply selecting the operator from a list of compatible ITSPs.
“We do everything we can to offer our customers reliable products, from interoperability to ease of use,” says Alan Shen, CEO of Yeastar. “This certification strengthens our commitment to supporting businesses in the transition to All‑IP and paves the way for more comprehensive unified communications solutions worldwide.”
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
