On January 20, 2021, Yeastar, a global provider of PBX systems for SMBs, announced a major update to its P‑Series lineup. This release brings video conferencing, remote access service, WebRTC audio and video calling, and other highly anticipated features.
Video conferencing is designed to meet the essential meeting needs of SMBs. It lets participants see one another through a web browser, share their screens, and use a team chat to stay engaged.
UC Linkus customers benefit from a unified interface across mobile, desktop, and browser, offering calls, conferencing, presence, business contacts, and collaboration. The Linkus Web Client also enables 1:1 audio and video calls with colleagues, business contacts, or external customers.
The remote access service provides a domain name supplied by Yeastar, ensuring always-on connectivity, instant secure access, and a consistent UC experience for P‑Series users. It eliminates the configuration difficulties of remote work environments.
“With this update, we are shaping P‑Series into a more sophisticated solution to support today’s agile workforce and tomorrow’s hybrid workplace,” says Prince Cai, Vice President of Yeastar. He adds that the company plans to add cloud and software deployment options, more UC capabilities, and further third-party integrations to provide “limitless” communications for SMBs.
A live stream of the new features will take place on Wednesday, January 27 at 17:00 GMT+8. The event will be broadcast on the Yeastar website and the company's YouTube channel.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
