On June 28, 2017, Yeastar announced the official release of the Yeastar K2, the first high-capacity IP-PBX in its range. The system integrates a Dell PowerEdge server and Yeastar VoIP technology to increase business productivity while reducing communication costs.
The K2 is designed for medium and large enterprises, supporting 2000 users, 500 simultaneous calls and 400 VoIP trunks. It also offers the option to add Yeastar gateways for FXS, FXO, GSM, WCDMA, ISDN BRI and E1/T1/PRI ports.
According to Alan Shen, CEO of Yeastar, “installing and managing a telephone system for more than 1000 people can be daunting.” He emphasizes that the K2 offers intuitive setup via a Web panel, auto-provisioning for phones (Yealink, Cisco, Polycom, Snom, VTech, Alcatel, Panasonic, Htek, Fanvil) and point-and-click management.
The main features of the K2 include:
- Support for 2000 users, 500 simultaneous calls and 400 VoIP trunks;
- Full features with no additional license fees;
- Phone auto-provisioning;
- Linkus mobile app for iOS and Android;
- Redundancy with two K2 systems for high availability;
- Intuitive Web configuration panel for administrators and users.
The K2 aims to provide a simple and cost-effective solution for large organizations while ensuring reliable and easy management of communications.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
