On September 15, 2015, Yeastar, a designer and manufacturer of IP telephony solutions, and Htek, a manufacturer of VoIP products, announced that the Yeastar MyPBX system had successfully passed interoperability testing with the entire Htek UC800 IP phone series.
As of that date, MyPBX supports the following models: Htek UC802, UC803, UC804, UC840, UC842, UC806, UC860, and UC862. The MyPBX platform also offers an auto-configuration feature that allows users to configure a large number of Htek phones quickly and easily.
Julex Jiao, Htek’s marketing director, said this full interoperability “provides customers with a more optimized IP telephony solution, particularly in the SME market, and delivers a better user experience.”
Michael Chan, Yeastar’s marketing director, added that “this successful interoperability is good news for SME customers, who can now feel confident using MyPBX with Htek phones.”
The two companies emphasize that their shared customers will benefit from cost savings and increased efficiency through this joint solution.
