Yeastar and AskoziaPBX: IP Gateway Interoperability

Yeastar, a designer and manufacturer of IP communication solutions, announced on October 12, 2015 that its gateway series had achieved interoperability with AskoziaPBX, an Asterisk-based PBX software for small and medium-sized businesses.

Rigorous testing confirmed that AskoziaPBX works correctly with Yeastar’s full range of VoIP Gateways, enabling an affordable telephone system suited to the needs of SME and enterprise users.

The Yeastar gateway models involved include:

  • TA Analog VoIP Gateways
  • TG GSM/CDMA/UMTS Gateways
  • TB BRI VoIP Gateways
  • TE PRI VoIP Gateways

These gateways serve as a bridge between FXS, FXO, PRI, BRI, GSM, CDMA, UMTS and IP networks.

According to Jason Chan, product manager at Yeastar, “We are pleased to have completed interoperability testing with AskoziaPBX. This makes it easier to deploy voice networks with minimal disruption for businesses and allows customers to save money by using the Internet for phone calls.”

Sebastian Kaiser, CEO of Askozia, added: “With Yeastar gateways, Askozia can offer a scalable, easily integrated communications solution for users in any network environment. In addition, customers benefit from the combined features of AskoziaPBX and Yeastar gateways.”

This collaboration is a strategic step for Yeastar to expand its reach in the global IP telephony market, helping businesses migrate to an IP platform that is easy to install, configure, and manage.

The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
