Yeastar tests MyPBX interoperability with the Surix door phone

On November 16, 2012, Yeastar announced that the MyPBX series is compatible with the Surix door phone, according to the results of an interoperability test. This compatibility opens up new possibilities for users, particularly SMEs, by offering greater freedom to choose their communication equipment.

Yeastar notes that compatibility with Surix reinforces the company’s ongoing efforts to broaden the reach of MyPBX and increase the value of network communications. The MyPBX series is already compatible with other IP device manufacturers such as Digium, Cisco, Yealink, Grandstream, Aastra, Snom and Polycom. In addition, MyPBX offers auto-provisioning capabilities for Yealink, Snom, Cisco, Aastra and Polycom IP phones, making deployment hassle-free regardless of the phone model used.

Founded in 1998, Surix is an innovative manufacturer of VoIP door phone modules for PBXs and complete VoIP door phone systems for buildings. Surix’s SIP IP products offer broad interoperability with PBX manufacturers and Broadworks hosted PBXs, integrate video and access control, and can be customized for many applications, particularly in the security sector.
