VTech and Yeastar launch a wireless solution for SMEs

VTech Communications, Inc. and Yeastar announced the launch on November 9, 2018, of a unique solution for SMEs: the SMB Key Line Wireless Office. This offering combines the VTech ErisTerminal VDP650 4‑lines cordless phone and the Yeastar S20 VoIP PBX.

The S20 PBX supports both SIP and analog trunks and includes enterprise-grade features such as auto attendant, voicemail, line status display, call parking, paging/intercom, time-based routing, AutoCLIP, call recording, and the ability to add GSM/3G/4G expansion cards for mobile redundancy.

The VDP650 phones come with a base station, a handset, and a cordless deskset with a battery. The key line emulation feature allows users to manage multiple calls simultaneously, immediately see which customers need their attention, and put a call on hold or retrieve it from another device with a single button. Each handset has backlit LED keys that display the status of incoming calls.

The solution offers a range of 500 feet (approximately 150 meters), support for up to 10 devices, and DECT 6.0 technology. It is designed to be simple to deploy, use, and administer, while offering the flexibility to scale up or down according to business needs.

Founded in 1976, VTech is the world’s largest manufacturer of cordless phones and a leader in electronic learning products. Founded in 2006, Yeastar offers cloud and on-premises VoIP PBXs as well as unified communications solutions for SMEs.

This collaboration is available only in the North American market. Press contacts are Stephanie Fazio (VTech) and Aviva Li (Yeastar).

The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
