The latest updates, released in September 2025, introduce conversation transcription and summaries, virtual fax, and WebSocket support for audio transmission. These additions aim to optimize call management, reduce costs, and provide smoother, more intelligent communication.
AI conversation transcription and summary
Instant transcription converts every voice or video call into readable text in real time, while the summary generates a concise recap as soon as the call ends, including key points and action items. Reserved for the Software and Cloud editions, these tools let you follow each speaker line by line and easily find conversations in the history.
WebSocket for audio stream transmission
The P‑Series PBX now transmits one-way audio packets via WebSocket during active calls. These packets contain the call ID, channel ID, and other metadata, facilitating integration with third-party systems for transcription, voice analysis, or AI processing. This feature is also limited to the Software and Cloud editions.
Integrated virtual fax
Virtual fax lets you send and receive faxes directly from the PBX, without additional hardware. Users can choose custom cover page templates or those set by the administrator, view logs in real time, and receive copies by e-mail. This solution simplifies fax management and eliminates noise and paper consumption.
Additional optimizations
The new options include assigning dedicated trunks to emergency numbers, expanding menu permissions for administrators, and a “Set Presence” function key to update presence quickly. These improvements enhance the system's flexibility and reliability.
