On September 24, 2012, Yeastar, a designer and manufacturer of IP communication products, officially announced the launch of its MyPBX Redundancy (Hot Standby) solution.
This solution, consisting of two MyPBX units, is designed to operate as a rapid failover system. If the primary server fails, all telephony is automatically transferred to the standby server, minimizing downtime.
The main benefits of the solution are:
- High system availability, reducing unexpected business losses.
- Automatic transition to the standby server, ensuring continuity of functionality for users.
The supported models are MyPBX Enterprise, MyPBX U300 and MyPBX U520.
Prerequisites: the two servers in the failover pair must be identical in model, have the same modules installed in the same slots, and have the same hardware configurations, firmware and software version.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, choosing an architecture and preparing deployment.
