Hikvision, an IoT provider specializing in video, announced a technology collaboration with Yeastar on 17 August 2021 to integrate IP video intercoms. The alliance aims to offer SMEs a simple solution for remotely managing their intercom systems and communicating with visitors.
With the integration, SME customers can answer and open a door from anywhere, see who is at the entrance, and talk via an IP video phone. They can also automatically forward intercom calls to a mobile number when they do not answer, eliminating the need for costly ring servers. The Yeastar PBX system includes a paging system that makes it easy to broadcast announcements from devices such as IP phones, mobiles, or PCs.
Compatible Yeastar products are: the P‑Series PBX, designed for SMEs with voice, video, applications, and collaboration services; the S‑Series VoIP PBX, which is easy to manage and feature-rich; and the Yeastar Cloud PBX, a hosted business phone system.
Adler Wu, Global Technology Partner Alliance Manager at Hikvision, said the partnership would expand the reach of Hikvision’s intercom solutions and offer more value to customers. Prince Cai, Vice‑President of Yeastar, noted that joint customers would benefit from an advanced phone system and an integrated PBX-intercom solution to improve productivity, streamline operations, and reduce costs.
The Yeastar team supports businesses and integrators in assessing their needs, selecting an architecture, and preparing for deployment.
